Sasha the sheltie. She was my friend's dog for 15 years and recently passed. Beautiful face, soulful eyes.

- I took up drawing and sketching again when my kids started college...I guess my creative energy had to go somewhere! I sketch whatever comes to me, but my favorite subject are dogs, especially those that have passed on and have been truly loved. When I lost my wonderful doggie friend of 15 years, I sought some way to commemorate her. Funny enough, I haven't been able to do justice to her image, but don't have any problem drawing other dogs. I use colored pencils as my medium. I like the control, the depth attained by the layers and there is minimal mess! I hope you enjoy your time here.
